Ms. Paulette

Before sunrise, when most of the city is still quiet, Paulette Frantists is unlocking the rhythm of her day at Michael's No Frills in Burlington, Ontario.

Once the doors open, Paulette trades spreadsheets for conversations. She’s out on the floor chatting with customers, checking in on cashiers and slipping moments of joy into someone’s day. Often, that joy comes in the form of a sticker.

Officially, Paulette is the store’s Bookkeeper and Front End Manager but ask the regulars and you will hear a different title entirely. In this community, she's known as the 'sticker lady'.
